The Memory Foundation is a non profit organisation (Registration number 2009/001684/08) with a burning desire to make a realistic difference in the lives and outlook of the people we come into contact with on a daily basis.

Founder members Carel Verhoef and Miriam Bracht, both renowned specialists in their respective fields in East Africa, first conceived the idea and impetus for The Memory Foundation on the long and dusty sojourn from Tanzania to Cape Town in 2008.
